Pre Covid19 I was fortunate to spend valuable time with my niece at the Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre in South Murwillumbah, New South Wales.
The surrounding countryside was magnificent.

Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre is a regional art gallery in Murwillumbah, New South Wales, Australia. Lonely Planet Australia describes it as “an exceptional gallery… home to some of Australia’s finest in a variety of media.”
Certainly, the Margaret Olley exhibition was mesmerising. I couldn’t stop gazing through the “windows” into her superbly re-constructed home art studio.
Are you wondering where on earth Margaret Olley found the space to paint?
There you have it – her own little space in her very eclectic room!

It was an amazing exhibition made even more enjoyable by the fact that we could order lunch and sit outside on the balcony in the sunshine to while away a bit of time.
So glad you enjoyed your visit to the gallery Tina. The home studio exhibition is a fascinating experience and insight into the world of another – especially enjoyable for those curious minds like ours! It was a lovely day. xx
